Welcome to my site, and thank you for visiting! For those of you who may not know me, I am the Senior Pastor of Harvest Baptist Church in the Greater Pittsburgh area of Pennsylvania where, along with my wife and 4 children, I have served since 1996. You can learn more about us at our church web site under the “Meet the Pastor” tab  (www.harvestbaptist.info).
The picture of my family includes my wife Wanda and our four children. From oldest to youngest their names are Nathaniel, Joshua, Caleb, and Hannah.

Pastor Skelly,
This blog is great! I’ve added it to my “favorites” list- at least I think I have. I’m still not very internet savvy. Anyway, I was just thinking about calling you today anyway. A friend will be out in the Philadelphia area (Winwood- to be exact) and they will need a good church to go to. I was wondering if you knew of a good one in that area. I’ll call you in a couple days if I don’t hear from you.

Pastor Skelly -
I enjoyed this past Sunday’s special music with the Jacob women. It was so beautiful. Has it ever been brought up to make a CD of the choir and special music to be sold? I know I would definitely buy it. I enjoy our choir very much and feel blessed that we can hear such touching music every week.

Pastor Skelly,
Wow, it’s been a LONG time! I’ve enjoyed catching up with what’s happening in your life and ministry via your blog and Harvest’s website, and am glad to hear of God’s hand of blessing and trust that He’ll continue to bless for His glory.
We’ve been in Cameroon, W.Africa for nine months now and are excited about the doors of ministry that God has opened for us here. Perhaps our paths will cross next time we’re back in the States on a furlough.
God bless you!
Is Dan Seely a brother to Doug Seely, the missionary our Church
supported to Atlantic Canada? God does have His plans for Cameroon!
Hi Pastor Skelly!!
You have a beautiful fam!!! It was a blast having you at camp last week…Your messages really spoke to my heart. Ill be praying for you and your family and I know God’s blessing is on you all.
In Christ,
Faith
Hey Pastor,
I was reading some of your book reviews when I thought how its been awhile since the last time we have talked, I know I’m horrible at keeping in touch. Graduating was a relief and I’m still working toward future ministry in india. I also just read the purity principle about two weeks ago, my first time through the book. I have been away for so long that home is starting to feel like a long ways away, but it is always close to my heart
Just wanted to thank you for the awsome time at camp this year. Our church (Berean Baptist) had a wonderful time.
Bro. Skelly,

Hello Pastor Skelly,
This is Tim and Jen Mueller. We met at Rhein River Baptist Church in Mannheim, Germany. We can see how much God has blessed your church, and how God speaks through you. We really enjoyed your preaching that Sunday you visited, and we would like to keep in touch. We were also wondering if you could put up videos of your preaching on the church web site. We would enjoy watching them, as well as others I am sure! Please let us know if there is anything we can pray for you or your church about. We love what God is doing through you and your church. May God Continue to Bless!
In Christ,
Tim and Jen Mueller

Mr. Skelly,
Thank you for the great sermons at youth conference and camp. They really spoke to my heart. I will never forget the illustrations you gave. They were hilarious! I have put myself in the center of God’s wheel and Jenny says “Hi”.
Thanks again,
Joanna
I met you before the service at the Grand Opening of the new church. When you spoke of the different ways one could treat their relationship with Jesus, I was impressed. Well done!! I have a PERSONAL relationship with Jesus (required). I agree with what you said about one’s heart too.(1Samuel 16:7). You see clearly (Mat 7:5). Thank You and God Bless.
Members of Harvest Baptist Church:
I am still rejoicing over what God has and is doing at Harvest. My heart was heard when I heard of the incredible day you had as you moved into the long awaited site. I’m so excited to see what the Lord will do as you continue to yield to his and your Pastor’s leadership. The times that my family and I have spent there with you have been uplifting, more I’m sure than you can imagine. Your Pastor and church family are something special, and we pray for you often. Keep up the good work. Congratulations.
You probably don’t know me, but my mom and dad are Scott and Theresa Burrows, I am their son, Scott Burrows. They were excited when they heard you were preaching at the college I am currently studying at, Pensacola Christian College. I really appreciated your messages that you preached here on the 25th and 26th of October. The messages really have inspired me to be real and authentic and have caused me to be more conscious to the condition of my soul, which worsens when I do not rely on God. I will pray for you and the ministry at your church that is currently flourishing for God. People are always looking, I just hope that we as christians are always ready to give them the only answer that will give them hope for tomorrow and for the rest of their lives. Have a great day and I will pray for you, your family and the great ministry that you are and will be accomplishing for God.
Hey, Pastor Skelly!
We had a great time at your church while on college tour! You were a great blessing to me and to all the guys in the group. I am excited about the opening of your new facilities! God truly is great! I hope He continues to bless you richly through the coming years. I will be praying for you, and let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

Dear Bro. Skelly,
I just wanted to let you know that you have been a blessing to me, and I have been privileged to get to know you. Thank you for letting God use you and your preaching in August at the Great Lakes Youth Conference in Cleveland. Thank you for being open and responsive to the Spirit’s leading, especially the last night of the conference. Thank you for the burden for souls that led you to preach such a powerful message leading to the salvation of so many teenagers. Thank you for taking the time to care about us and give us good advice as we head toward the ministry. Every week, I am praying for you and your ministry as you serve God. I pray that God will bless you as you stay faithful to Him. Thank you for investing in my life.
In Christ,

Hello Pastor Skelly,
You were the guest speaker at Camp CoBeAc when I went. You are an amazing pastor. Thanks(:
-Jessica.
Hi Pastor Skelly,
I wanted to thank you for preaching at PCC last semester. I know the Lord was working in many hearts during your visit, including mine. Lord willing, I may get the chance to stop by your church sometime in the future. My family drives through Pennsylvania occassionaly. God bless you, your family, and your ministry.
Kurt was one of the best guys I knew at HAC. He’d work more than 40 hours a week, took 19 hours of school, made A’s, memorized most of the New Testament, and was involved in a ministry all while making everyone think he didn’t have a care in the world. They don’t come any better than Kurt Skelly.
Pastor Skelly, First of all i want to thank you for preaching for teens! I know you touch the hearts of each and everyone of them!
Second, I would like to thank you for preaching at Indian Creek Baptist Camp on June 8, 2009! Although i don’t remember the title of the message or even what it was about I know God did a great work in my heart that night! Later in the early morning of June 9th, myself and three of my best friends where led to the Lord by my Pastor’s wife! I also loved your message on ” How to be a valuable vessel”! That helped me alot too! You are deffinately one of my favorite preachers along with Freddie De Anda!!! Thanks again! Michelle Riley~ Psalm 27:1
